Nancy Hammell, PT, DPT, CSCS

Dr. Hammell is a graduate of New York University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program. She has experience working in all healthcare settings including outpatient orthopedics, acute care, home health, vestibular rehab, adult neurology, and cardiopulmonary rehab. She has worked with every age group, from babies to centenarians. Dr. Hammell has also been a medical volunteer with the ING New York City Marathon, NYC Half Marathon, and Ironman U.S. Championship.
In her free time, she enjoys exercising, cooking, reading, spending time with family, and watching a good Nancy Meyers film. She recently moved to the suburbs of New Jersey with her husband and daughter.

Amy Mak, MS, OTR/L
Co-owner
Amy received a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University and a Bachelors of Arts degree in Communications from the University of California, Berkeley. She has experience working with both adults and children in various settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, home-based, and schools. Amy stays current on the latest research by taking a variety of continuing education classes in treatment for stroke recovery, shoulder disorders, cognitive rehab strategies for neurological disorders, manual therapy techniques for the cervical and thoracic spine, fall prevention, and therapeutic exercises for older adults.
Amy enjoys traveling and volunteering abroad while utilizing her skills and experience as an Occupational Therapist to help underserved communities. Her past medical trips include India, South Africa, and Madagascar.
